After Google Drive Stream installation, a drive named Google Drive File Stream will appear on the left in Finder or File Explorer. This folder will comprise both your personal Google Drive and the Team Drives that you are a part of. So, you can access GDrive Stream from the Menu Bar or from the Finder window. File Stream is an application that lets you stream My Drive and Team Drive files directly from the cloud, which in turn:
- Allows quick access to all of your Google Drive files on demand, directly from your computer

- Minimizes the amount of company data stored on users' hard drives
- Browse and organize Google Drive files without downloading all of them to your computer
